In 1998, a strategic decision was taken to develop our own in-house software. The aim of this was to achieve the targets for quality, process control and traceability that our clients demand of us. By introducing a single database format in the company, information can be collected and easily processed on-line from all computer programs.
Today, we have several programs which we use in process control and quality follow-up. The control starts as soon as a moulding tool is produced. All parts included are given their own unique identification which allows them to be traced at any time through the database.

The injection moulding process is fully traceable, from the point at which the thermoplastics material is delivered to us until the parts are delivered to the client.

Every step of the process is registered in our database. Documents controlling production are also integrated in our software. The date for checks, as well as the number of parts which are to be checked, is signalled automatically by the software.

The software also handles documentation relating to quality discrepancies and outturn samples, as well as the approval of new moulding tools. Follow-up of deviations in the production process and the assessment of other production statistics are carried out on a regular basis.

The latest development in our system was the introduction of total document management.

The system is actively linked to the MPS system, resulting in controlling documents being linked to the production process. Consequently, the status of the controlling documents directly affects over whether a planned production can commence or not.

The system is unique and ensures total traceability of documents and document status for every production batch.
