Since 1971, when it started trading, Elos Medtech Microplast AB has gained more than 35 year's experience in the design and manufacture of moulding tools and in injection moulding. In the first few years, the company concentrated on the manufacture of injection moulding machinery, but the operation gradually moved towards the production of moulding tools and then into injection moulding as well. This is the background to our current business strategy:

Today, Elos Medtech Microplast AB is a high-tech production company in the thermoplastics industry. We specialize in the design and production of advanced moulding tools and mouldings which require a very high level of precision.
The injection-moulded parts are primarily made from difficult-to-machine plastics, including ETFE, ECTFE, LCP, PEEK, PES , PPS and PPSU for clients who demand very fine tolerances. We primarily work with products used in medicine and biotechnology, ventilation and sanitation engineering applications, water distribution and precision engineering/hydraulics.
By prioritizing investment in technically-advanced machinery and in-house software development, our operation meets the most stringent requirements on documentation management, traceability, quality and process management. This does, of course, apply equally in our tools manufacturing process and our injection moulding operation. |
Over the years, Elos Medtech Microplast AB has gained a high level of in-depth understanding and specialist expertise, which we now use to meet the varying requirements and demands of our clients. Quality, expertise, flexibility and customisation are important key words in our operation, which ensure that our clients benefit from substantial added-value.
Elos Medtech Microplast AB manages its operations in accordance with SS-EN ISO 9001 and SS-EN ISO 14001. Quality awareness permeates the whole operation, and we have our own software which ensures a very high level of process management and control.
Our environmental undertakings include sorting at source and recycling, and we avoid production methods and materials which may have a negative impact on the environment.
Over the years, Elos Medtech Microplast AB has also invested heavily in checks and measuring. In 2001, for example, we purchased a unique CNC measuring machine, WERTH Video-Check IP, with multi-sensor technology. Elos Medtech Microplast AB was one of the first companies in the world to adopt this technology.
PA 12, Maquet Critical Care AB
We specialize in the production of thermoplastic components weighing between 0.01 and 180 grams. The whole production process meets stringent requirements for cleanliness. Some finishing and assembly work can be carried out in a clean room atmosphere, if required.
Elos Medtech Microplast AB is based in Skara, 120 km north of Gothenburg, Sweden. Our factory is easily visible from the E20 highway. We currently have clients in Sweden, Europe, the USA and the Far East. The company has a staff of 22, and during 2002 it had sales of over 2,3 million EURO (SEK 21 million).
